A workplace lust..(M)?

I work on a second shift job in a retail store. And lately, I've

gotten a crush on a coworker who works third shift. I hardly get

to see him unless he comes by work early to buy stuff or if I'm

off work and go speak to him. He always walks by where I'm working

and just looks at me and smiles. And one day he even said I looked

good that day. My best friend said she thinks he likes me. Like,

sometimes he'll be sitting outside work on a bench with his buddies

and he'll just watch me drive by and smile.

The thing is. I like him too. Now, not to be conceited but, I ususally get

what I want. And I'm almost certain he likes me. I feel like I'm not the

prettiest girl in the world but, lately I've gotten alot of self confidence.

And guys seem more interested in me now. And I REALLY like this guy. I knew

his name. I've just drew a blank on it. Sounds like I'm a teenie bopper. I'm

not I'm just a shy 23 yr old woman. Who's scared silly to approach this good

looking man. Who's obviously interested??? How do I go up and approach him?

Is it consider taboo to date someone u work with? I know that we would have

to keep it quiet if we started dating.

Would it work out with me on second shift and him working thirds???

I never recommend you date anyone from work. Period.

Besides, you don't even know his name...

It's good that the two of you work different shifts and rarely run into each other. It cuts a lot of the awkwardness.

Thanks, Sher,

I talked to him the other day and he did infact ask me

out. The person who gave me advice before you just rubbed

me the wrong way and didn't really give any real advice.

It sounded more like an opionion. Maybe her coworker crush

didn't work out? I don't know. She seemed kind of upset or

had a bitter reply. Never hurts to try and see if they're

interested right? The worse they could say is No...

I followed my heart and It was right. He was interested...:)
