(((HUGS))) on the break-up. After my worst break-up, I also cut my hair, which was to my rear at the time, into a short, sassy bob just below my ears. I got contacts instead of glasses, and opted for colored ones that made my light green eyes emerald green. I dropped about 25-30lbs, and bought some newer, more flattering clothes. I made sure that wherever I went, I looked my best, and since we went to the same college, lived minutes away from each other, etc., we were running into each other a lot. When we did, though, I'd pretend not to see him and keep on moving, and if I was with friends, I'd say something and laugh like I didn't have a care in the world. Pretty soon, I started to feel as good as I looked, and had to beat the guys off with a stick. ;)

Hello all,

I am new to this board. I got over my ex fiancee, by getting rid of all pictures I could. Some are on disk with family pictures though. Got rid of all cards. pawned engagement ring, only to find out the gold wasn't real!LOL! Took him off speeddial, got rid of wedding magazines. I did keep one watch and some earrings and some cool Jamaican shirts. I had a collection of Bob Marley stuff before I met him.

Hey krysta2007,
Tonight my ex broke up with me- it was a sweet, mutual break but both of us are still in love and deeply saddened. But, while I was driving home I thought about all the little things I have wanted to do and realized I want to do them ALL! right now! One of the top is dying my hair (never done it). So, you've inspired me :) Thanks!
