There is nothing wrong with dating more than 1 person at a time, as long as you do not let any of them think that you are dating them exclusively.

I don't think there's anything wrong w/ it as long as you aren't lying to anyone or have made a commitment to only date that one person.

I am going through something similar- but on the other end. I have been seeing someone for 2 months- and I tried to make it clear from the beginning that I am not really "into" dating multiple people. Everyone is different, right?

I agree with the others - I don't see anything wrong with dating more than one person at a time so long as you aren't trying to deceive anyone by doing so.

But how do you actually go about keeping two people around without deceiving one of them, or both?

By being up front with them that you're currently dating, not getting into anything serious with anyone.

You don't necessarily know you're with the right person right away, so there's no harm in keeping your options open by dating more than one person at a time until you find out whether or not you really have a connection with one of them or not. Once you figure out which you have the most chemistry with, who appears to be the best fit for you, then you can drop to just dating that one, but I think, at least initially, there's no harm in dating several people so you widen your dating pool until you narrow down your choices.

At least that's what worked for me, but it's not for everyone.
