Eek! 55 Terrifying (and True!) Dating Horror Stories

OK, I didn't have th patience to read all 55 stories, but stories 1 through 7 could all be avoided with some common sense (i guess it is not that common these days).  Having dinner for first date is usually not a good idea.  Coffee, or a walk in a park (with lots of people around), or another public place is safer, and in case something doesn't work out, there is less "investment" of time and money from both parties.  I certainly would not want the man to walk me home on the first date - it is too soon for him to find out where I live.  And the woman who invited the man to her house for the first date?!  That's just plain stupid.
