How do you know when you are in an emotionally healthy relationship? I am currently fresh out of an abusive situation. There was always drama or sometime of disruption, where I sometimes have created an emotion (such as text message) to stir some type of emotion. I want to be able to distinguish a healthy relationship and identify when the relationship is moving in a forward and positive direction.

I think the most important avenue to having a healthy relationship is to first be sure you are healthy emotionally yourself.

Yeah I can always make a lot of sense when I am advising someone else on how to conduct their relationships.
