I have several questions about a guy I am somewhat interested in.
We have known each other for 6 months and while I usually initiate all of the calling, he will sometimes initiate texting. He has asked me out a few times, but I was really busy each time. Because he was trying, I invited him to go out. He said he was busy. He would mention that he felt he was trying but felt rejected. I tried to explain this was not the case. When we finally met up again, he invited one of his friends along. I offered to pay for my share and he didn't refuse the offer.
My questions are:
Is he not interested and want me to go away (were his actions of bringing a friend and allowing me to pay signs)?
Is he interested but wants to take things slowly (The mentioning of feeling rejected)?
Why invite the friend?
Does he want to just be friends?
Only he knows what his true motivations were for bringing the friend along on your date, but I wouldn't think anything at all about his not rejecting your offer to pay, especially since you're the one who asked him out.
