I'm glad I'm not the only one who was unsure about this sort of thing.

You used Nair? I would have thought that Nair would cause irritation. It didn't?

I ended up getting a bikini wax from the beauty salon who does my hair.

Nair??? I would have been scared to death that it would have burned the skin and caused major issues. I'm glad it worked for you.....you are very brave!

This must be the new fad since my 12 year old DD came to me recently and inquired when she was told by a few of her friends that shaving their legs now a days doesn't stop at the upper thigh. It seems that a good portion of teens are now either trimming, or completely removing their pubic hair. That made me think about how my DH has been throwing these hints at me for some time now about "experimenting" with this. I have done dome research on the net and it does seem very prevalent. Heck, I even say an article in the NY Times of all places about what they call the wholesale removal of pubic hair now a days. OK so I am not considering it and not sure if for the maybe one and only time (don't know if I will like or hate it) if the razor is the best way or to get it waxed. I have a very low pain threshold.
