'..Don't waste your time at clubs or bars, most of the guys you meet there are looking for one-night stands and the "easy score" after a couple three drinks'

Nope, not necessarily. Met my live-in bf of 4+

That is true, just a little advice on the level of guys I see at bars / clubs here in LA. As for the Gothic, cool. Which bands do you listen to? A friend of mine is the bass player for London after Midnight, and I am getting into Birthday Massacre and Mindless Self Indulgence. Kind of strange to get into this style at my age, 47, but it is a lot of fun.

OMG it's unbelievable how small the world is - I know London after Midnight!! Not personally but the name sounds very familiar and I might have even been at a gig some years back!!!

I'm into anything from Motley Crue to Type O Negative to Opeth

Hello there, I am only 24 and I certaintly need advice myself.....But what is interesting, I can relate to your situation. Ever since I was 15 I've always been in relationships. I never took the time to get to know myself. It is very hard for beautiful woman not to get attention and not fall for the crap the men tell us. But what I can tell you, do not feel like your alone in this. There are plenty of women that are in the same situation, and what i find that helps, is reading and spending time with family members and friends.. Go to the spa and get pampered that will give you a sense of purity and royalty..get treated like the queen you are.. Praying is also very resourceful, god never fails---he helps you stay content---but you must pray everyday! always remember without god your nothing---and i'm sure once that right guy sees the confidence in you---its gonna be hard to keep him away from you...Men can see insecurity and vurnurability--you can't play it off...just like the saying dogs can sense when
