I had a hard time figuring out a title to this one.

Last night I was supposed to go to church for a meeting to find out about this new religious education program for kids.

I am the exact opposite in the fact that I have never met a STRANGER. I can strike up a conversation with anyone in any place. I never look at someone as a potential date to start off with. Just someone to have a 2 minute conversation with. If you look at it this way, it takes all the pressure off.

I used to embarrass my sons so much because I would strike up a conversation with people at the grocery store. If they were buying something I thought I would like to try, I would ask them about it. If they seemed to be looking for something I would help them find it. I used to ride the city bus all the time and always started a conversation with my seat mate. You meet some very interesting people. On my regular bus to and from work most people just called me the BUS LADY! As I also drove for Greyhound and was in uniform most of the time.

Never miss an chance to talk to someone you think might be interesting. Start a conversation about anything. The color of the carpet, a painting or other artwork that might be in the room, anything that is not personal! Never start a conversation with I like your tie or anything else personal about them.

You seemed to do ok with the Italian.

I must point out that the Italian professor is probably about 65 so he seemed safe.
