Hi All,

So, I've worked at my company for 6 months and everyone knows that I am pretty reserved.  It's a fitness facility, so there are a lot of us, but I've started talking to one of the newer staff members in a central department.  Over the last few weeks, I've come to realize that I really like him.  We have similar experiences and turns out we follow the same team.  He invited me out to watch a game with his buddies a few weeks back but I was unable to go.  He hasn't brought it back up since so I've been wanting to suggest it to him. Thing is, we don't often get much opportunity to talk at work and I think he might feel a little strange about me asking, so just wondering what y'all think.  Any ideas about how to go about it? Or, as the majority has said, just do it already?

Thanks!

Why do you think he'd feel strange if he already asked you before--maybe he doesn't want to get turned down again, so just say "hey, are you going to watch the [whoever] game tomorrow?" or "do you want to get together to watch sometime?"  Don't over think it.

I totally agree with musiclover. At least you know that he's somewhat interested since he's asked you somewhere before. Definitely go for it! (Yes, i know easier said than done)
