I need some advice please - my scenario...i have recently started dating a guy i met online, we both want a serious relationship, so far he seems like a nice guy, there is attraction. The downside: he got out of a serious relationship a year ago,

The first guy just doesn't seem that available. I would be pretty annoyed if I didn't make plans on a weekend because I expected to have a date and a guy was "too tired" to go out. If I heard that, I probably would have told him to forget it. I would understand if someone is actually sick, but I think that when you are starting to get to know someone, you need to make more of an effort to make a good impression. I personally wouldn't want to spend my limited weekend time just talking on the phone.

W/ the dance instructor, if he had a habit of behaving inappropriately w/ his students, do you think he would have that job for very long? It's his JOB. He probably has to dance w/ a lot of fat, unattractive ladies who have 2 left feet and make them think they are the best dancer in history too. I mean, I know it's a little different because he actually has to touch the students, but that wouldn't have me worried. I mean, in just about every job, there are women, either customers or co-workers. Either you can trust someone or you can't. My 2nd exH works in a store & he has told me that women come on to him, but I was never jealous. I know that being faithful was important to both of us, so I never worried about it.

Thanks for your post! Yep, i agree with you that the first guy doesn't seem that available and i was just thinking that he isn't making much effort, which is not exactly a turn on for me! I find myself forgetting about him already!

As for the teacher, really good point you made that if he was acting inappropriately it would come out. They are supposed to act professionally ofcourse and he has been teaching now for about 15 years, in the same school, and i have never heard one bad thing spoken about his conduct.

You're the second person who told me that the job itself doesn't make a difference, it is ofcourse the guy's character. I shoulda known that, i have worked in a few offices and everyone knows who the married "pigs" are! Thanks for your input.
