You have a player on your hands. Don't waste any more time or energy even thinking about him. Find a guy who is into you. Good luck!

Ummm he couldn't call you because his phone broke and he had to wait for a new one in the mail? Who orders a cell phone over the mail? And who doesn't take the sim card out of the old one? You can stick that in any comparable phone to copy a number down if you need it. Plus he knew where you worked. He could have easily called you at work just to leave a brief message. It sounds to me like he's just not that into you.

Well, he said he tried to actually exchange it at the Sprint store, but since he had a warranty plan, he had to send in his old phone to get the new one. He said he would have gone to a payphone to call me if he had my number, but the old phone was already sent back. He actually texted me when he got his new one to tell me he finally got it. It was slowed down in the holiday mail chaos.

Actually, I know that he didn't go out on NYE with anyone.

You believe what he is telling you. Which is fine. I personally read more into a guy's actions than his words. So if I guy is not asking me out twice a week, to me it translates into either 'he is dating someone else' or 'he is just not that into me'. Anyway, seems to me that there is nothing that you can do until he asks you out on a date. Until then nothing what anyone else thinks on this board matters.
