Why do senior citizens get all the fun?

I have an 81 yr old uncle who spends the winters in Fla. His first wife of over 40 yrs died, then a couple of years later, he met a nice widow down in Fla. The ironic thing was that he & his 1st wife and she & her 1st DH had all vounteered at the same hospital down there, but they never met each other. So this 2nd woman & he got their relationship "blessed" by a priest but didn't legally marry, as she would have lost some pension rights. I guess that's more common where there are a lot of retirees who don't want to be "living in sin." So he was with her for a few years, then unfortunately, she too died a year or so ago of cancer. Now my mom tells me that he has another girlfriend! In fact the 2nd wife introduced him to her and thought they would like each other!
So I guess you either have to be young or a senior citizen to get all the dating action. I'm 51 and I think all the guys my age want a 30 yr old. :( Not to mention that I work and have a 7th grader to take care of, so I don't have that much time. But I did notice when I went to my local hospital for some tests, that there were all these senior guys volunteering there too, who would help people find their way around the hospital. And today I stopped to get some breakfast in the donut shop and I know there are these guys who have breakfast there every day and they started talking to me. They were 79 years old! lol So I guess my dating life will pick up in about 20 years.

Since Im classified as a senior citizen I guess Im not the norm.
