Hey all!

So my boyfriend who i was 6 months with says to me "don't be surprised if i find another girl," after i denied him sex. We haven't really been in good terms lately cuz we barely see each other (once a week) and whenever we do see each other he wants to spend that time having sex.

It means he's got one foot out the door because his needs aren't getting met.

When you say "he agrees to do other things" does that mean that you will go out to dinner, a movie or whatever in addition to having sex or does he just want to have sex & do something really boring like sit on the couch & watch TV?

I really don't know what prompted him to say that except that we were sort of arguing because i felt like i was just being used for sex.

No, every once in awhile we do go out to eat or whatever, and then go have sex most of the time. Yes, i do feel that sex is an important part of a relationship but it is not the MOST important thing. Yes, i felt like i was being taken for granted because he didnt seem interested in doing other things.

I am not a fan of when men use sex as a game...he probably thinks it will make you want to have more sex, when in reality it does quite the opposite!

It somehow surprises anyone that a guy that is committing himself to one woman, and only gets to see her every few weeks, actually wants to have sex every time he sees her? Really? Quite frankly, I'd be worried if he DIDN'T want to have sex with me every time. I'd think he was cheating if weeks were going by and he wasn't completely horny by the time he saw me. The fact that he obviously isn't getting his needs met elsewhere should be enough evidence that he's in this because he likes you and not just for the sex. And the fact that he's actually warning you that it may happen shows that he wants to try to save what he has with you before just giving up and finding someone more available. That's just my opinion though.

I only got to see an ex of mine once a week, and if he had told me he didn't want to have sex when we were together I would have assumed something was very wrong and he had one foot out the door. It's only natural to want to include it as part of your time together when you don't see each other often. The bigger problem might be that you want more of the other things-actual dates- not less of the sex.
