(This is a double post--also on life in our 30s)

Hi, I'm a first time poster. I've been dating this great guy that I met online six months ago. He started acting a little distant last week (saying he felt depressed; not calling every day & he ALWAYS calls several times a day), and I got suspicious, so I looked up his profile, and it said he was "online now!" He owns his own business, just bought a house, and is recently divorced with two children, so he is under a great deal of stress. Should I confront him?

Are you in an exclusive relationship? If so, than heck yeah you need to confront him! He shouldn't be on a dating website if he is in a relationship. To me that would constitute cheating because the sole purpose of those websites is to meet new women and vice versa. For all you know, he has been meeting other women behind your back. Above all, the fact that he is starting to become distant is a clear signal that he might be looking for a way out of what you two have and looking to find someone new. Don't waste your time and confront him as soon as possible.

I totally agree with bella.

The only thing I'll add is if the two of you haven't agreed to be exclusive I suggest you have that talk with him right away. The answer might hurt your feelings, but better hurt feelings now then broken heart later.
