Okay I've been working with this guy for a long time. Everybody at work told me that he likes me. As the weeks went by I've noticed that he flirted with me a lot. He would come up behind me and play with my hair, he would follow me around the store and talk, he even tried to teach me how to play football one day. One day we got news that our store was going out of business, so on the last day of work he gave me his number and e-mail and told me to "look him up sometime." I called ten minutes later to make sure that he didn't give me a fake number, he didn't. Well, it's been a month since our store went out of business and he e-mailed me 4 times and called me once, but we only talked for ten minutes. I've called him up at least once a week since then, and every time his cell phone rings and rings, but he never picks up. So, I leave a message and he's never called back. I e-mailed him and he said that he's been too busy with his home business to call anyone. Okay, so I want to know if this guy really likes me, or if he just wants to be friends. But, why would he tell a lot of people at work that he likes me, if he just wants to be friends? I'm confused. Well, he's 35, he's never been married, and has never had a serious relationship. I'm 22 and never had a serious relationship either, but that's ok since I'm younger. A co-worker told me that he's kinda intimidated by women and that I need to make the first move. I don't know, what should I do?

To be perfectly honest, I don't think he even wants to be friends. 'Friends' pick up the phone when it rings - yes?

Let it go.
