If he was really a good guy, he wouldn't be flirting with you since he has a girlfriend. If you've fallen for a guy like that, it's not going to end well for you. If he cheats on her with you, eventually one or both of you will get your heart broken. Even if he leaves her to be with you, you'll always have to wonder if he's flirting with other women. Knowing his history, you'll never be able to trust him. So no matter what happens, it won't be good.

having a girlfriend is not the same as being engaged or married.


there is nothing ethically or morally wrong in letting this run its course.

I`m wondering how much younger he is than you? Could he perhaps be looking for your advice? Just seems strange that he would show you gifts for another woman if it was you he was interested in.

Men/boys can be interested in women for things other than a sexual/romantic relationship.
