So I've been seeing my boyrfriend for only a few months but we've known each other for like 5 yrs or so.The other day he asked me a pretty random question,we were sittnig on his bed and he said "I have a question for you?" and I said "what?" he said "where would you go for your honeymoon?" Of course I answered with mexico, fiji...other places. He then asked "what about cuba or jamaica?" Anyways, that was our conversation...and I'd like to know if anyone has any ideas as to why he would ask me that? I mean I honestly can't think of why, we havn't been planning a vacation or anything so Iam stumped. And just the way he worded it "I have a question for you" like as if it were an important ,serious question.Something he NEEDED an answer to.Any thoughts?

Sorry to burst your bubble but I think he was just asking the question itself, and not asking where you wanted to go with him for a honeymoon. At 5 months, if there was a chance, he'd be asking more questions such as future plans, asking your opinion of things, etc. You would have a bigger red flag at this point if he were thinking about marriage with you. It's a better chance if you two were older (say late 20's/early 30's). So I'd say pay attention to the signs if he throws you any again.

If he asks anything again related to marriage/honeymoon, etc, you can simple say, once I'm engaged then I'll think about that more. It's being direct w/o being direct towards him and there's no pressure.

This could be more of a vacation question than anything else.
