hey everyone, ive been seeing this guy for almost 2 months now and he is great. Just awesome, we get along so good. The problem is he doesnt know how to be in a relationship. Yesterday we had a long talk about this and i was wondering why he didnt seem into us as much anymore and he said he didnt know how to be a boyfriend. He hasent really had a real relationship before, just flings, his longest was a month, and before me he didnt date anyone for 2 years and only slept with 5 girls. He is a great man and has been hurt lots because he always went for the mean girls. Anyways, he tells me he cares for me like no other and doesnt wasnt to lose me, he just doesnt know how to show his feelings and how to have a relationship, i told him i would do whatever i can and be patient with him. My question is , is this the way to handle it? im not sure where to go with this one. any advice/suggestions welcome.

There is one other thing you can do and as a man, I wish more women would do this. If you want/need something from the relationship, then please ASK for it. So many women expect a man to "just know" what they want but it doesn't work that way all that well. Ask for what you want then give him the time and opportunity to see if he can deliver.

Spiceman has a point.. Also, I like to mention if you are the type who wants romantic outings and want him to initiate anything then forget it. because, to many times you see here that the woman starts and says well he is not dated much but they want to know how to get him to things that he has yet to learn. Be prepared because this is a long rode. Most guys learn over the period of 16-25 of how to really date and the ends and out. So, with only 5 girls he's been with and none over that honey moon period is like his romance level is that of a teen not there except for what they see in movies.
