How long is long enough?

I posted this on a couple of other boards, so I apologize if you're reading this twice!

I have been dating this guy, K, for about a month now. We work together, but different departments. We had seen each other in passing for 7 months and both had crushes on each other, but never knew the other was interested. Last month he approached me and we have been almost inseparable ever since. We spend A LOT of time together (I have my own tooth brush at his apartment--he bought it). We get along really well and genuinely enjoy spending time with each other. We decided a couple of weeks ago that we would be exclusive, but not b/f/g/f. Yesterday I brought up how I would like to take this to the next level (b/f/g/f) and he said he was surprised to hear me say that and he had thought about it too...But that's where the conversation ended. What does this mean? By every definition we are b/f/g/f just without the title. He even dvr's my favorite shows when I'm not there! ;-) And I know there's no other woman, because we are almost always together...He wouldn't have time to be with anyone else. Is 1 month too soon to expect a relationship? Should I just wait it out? For how long? Should I wait for him to bring it up, or do it myself again? Any advice would be great!

It sounds like you're moving pretty fast alreay, so I wouldn't get even more ahead of yourself. Just enjoy what you have and get to know him more before you decide if it's the right time for "titles".

I agree, you are moving kind of fast and so I would refrain from asking about titles. It is what it is and you should be happy b/c it seems to be going well. The idea of you both being g/f b/f is there you shouldn't need to hear it from his mouth to confirm. Good luck!

Thanks exzhellraisr...The last few days have been better. I have done a better job job of relaxing and enjoying the moment instead of thinking so much about the future.
