What's the difference between love and and intimacy and how does communication play a role in either?

In my opinion, love is something you only feel in your heart. It's an idea that we can't really put our hands around, but we think we "know" what it is. Love is being able to sit next to someone and know that they understand what you're saying when you're saying nothing at all, that sort of thing. Intimacy is something you do, the cuddling, the kissing, hugging, the romance side of it. Also the closeness or togetherness that's there.
To me, communication plays into love and intimacy by the way we converse with one another, however it may be, whether it's body language or speaking with one another. Communication is essential to both though. How will the receiver of your actions know what you want/need if you don't communicate it to them.
This is just how I see it...hope it helps!
