I've Been Crushing for 10 Years!

Still crushing 10 years later. Should I tell him?

I'm 33. About 10 years ago, I had very strong feelings for someone 11 years older. He wouldn't date me at the time because he felt I was too young for him. He did admit to being attracted to me, and took me out all the time, as a friend. He could not stay away from me then.

We lost touch for years. Recently, he tracked me down through a mutual friend and contacted me. We've been chatting via phone for about a month. We have discussed getting some old friends together to reconnect.

I have really enjoyed our conversations, I can feel my old crush starting to creep back up. Granted, I haven't seen him in 10 years (other than photos). We're both single.

Should I tell him I may be interested? He has not flirted with me at all since we've reconnected. He is very busy with his job, and his child(single dad) yet he always finds time to call me to chat.
Should I wait until we've hung out?

Is there a possibility he's interested in me? Why did he contact me? Why is he calling? Do men usually just call women to be friendly?

I feel like a teen again, and I really don't want to jump the gun. Advice please.

I think you may be jumping the gun. More will become clear when you see one another in person. At that point, it may be the best time for you to tell him that you've been thinking about him and that your feelings haven't changed. Maybe his answer will be different after ten years. I'd say it would be most likely that he wants to date you if he wanted to see you one-on-one, but since you're getting a group of people together, I can't be sure. It's possible. I hope things go well - As hard as it may be, try not to make assumptions before you get together. You'll see soon enough.
