Hi Sharon,

I do believe in intuition and so maybe you were experiencing that when you all of a sudden dreamed of and started thinking of your ex. However, I don't think that it's necessarily a sign that you two are meant to be and that he will definitely be back in your life. I know it's hard, but I wouldn't get too excited about that prospect, as it may not happen.

He said he would get back to you. I know it's hard waiting, but wait for him. He may have seen your excitement when you did speak to him, and doesn't feel the same excitement, so is waiting to get back to you. If that's not the case, then maybe you two will start dating, but only time will tell.

He may have changed physically and in other ways over the years, so maybe you will no longer be attracted to him. Maybe you will and things will work out. Don't scare him off with those kind of expectations though. If he contacts you, try not to project to the future, and live for and enjoy the present moment.

Let us know what happens.

i never talked to him. i sent him an email. it was very general and vague just to say hello. this was before i even knew he was coming back east. he was the one that made a point to tell my friend to let me know he was home and he would get in touch with me.

How long has it been since he said he'd contact you?
