ONLINE BF: ARE YOU FOR REAL???

As part of an experiment with my younger sister, we both agreed to try online dating for the next six months. I signed up for full access to webdate.com and wealthymen.com and I was thrilled to meet some of the nicest guys out there. The internet has provided lonely hearts with great tools for hooking up.

But here's my problem: I RECENTLY MET PRINCE CHARMING. HE'S TRULY PERFECT. BUT KNOWING THAT HE'S FROM THE NET, SHOULD I TAKE THINGS AT FACE VALUE or IS HE FOR REAL???

He recently wanted to go out on a real date. IT'S MY CHANCE TO FIND OUT IF IT'S THE REAL THING. WHAT SHOULD I DO????

I don't understand...why *wouldn't* you meet him in person, spend time with him and see if he's for real? What's the point of doing online dating, otherwise?

And if you haven't met him, how can you know he's "perfect"? It takes spending time with someone, in person, to really get to know them.

Well, I’ve met many guys from online and take nothing at face until I can meet them and spend real time with them. My current bf and I met online and will be hitting one year this weekend.

Need you ask! ;-) Of course, you should go out with him and find out. After all, what's the point of being on online dating sites if you don't actually want to go out on dates (unless all you want is a few pen-pals). :)

Take him up on his offer and find out!

Well always be safe of course but I can tell you I met my fiance online. Not through any webdating services, it was purely by chance that we met. But now we're getting married in August! There's always the chance that you two won't "click" in person like you do online but if you don't meet him, won't you always be wondering "what if?"
