Should Our Relationship Change?

A good friend of mine just started seeing someone. I'm not sure if they're actually dating yet but I think they probably are. So, if he has a girlfriend, should this affect our relationship? My first instinct is absolutely not! That wouldn't be fair to me, right? But it seems weird that we still go out to eat together and watch movies together (just the two of us) when he has a girlfriend. Am I off my rocker!???

As he becomes more involved with her, your relationship will probably change without his being aware of it. He will have less time for you because he wants to spend his time with her. I think it will take care of itself. Do you have someone else to go out to eat and to watch movies with?

Why is it weird? So long as he's being upfront with his gf about your friendship, you shouldn't feel weird. Hopefully you'll meet her soon so she can feel comfortable with your friendship also.

I agree with the previous poster... as he becomes move involved with the new woman, he will probably have less time to do all the one-on-one activities he has been doing with you.
