I would just like to express how happy and content I finally am with my bf. We had so many issues since around january, but things seemed to have leveled off the last month or so. He's starting to do things he used to do when we first got together, like running me bubble baths, being more cuddly, and cooking for me more.I can see that he is becomming as happy as he was last fall.

My feelings are changing aswell, but in a good way. Their growing day by day. Even though we see each other atleast 3 times a week, you'd think we'd be sick of each other by now but I still find myself captivated by him, all those sappy love songs you hear about loving everything about the person, I actually can relate to them lol. I literally love everything about him. The freckles on his back, his pierced ears, his hair, everything. I literally don't see a flaw in him, to me he's perfect (of course I know realistically he's not lol)

Saying all this, I almost got married last

What kind of issues were you having only 6 months into a new relationship?

What happened a month ago for things to change?

o my goodness! lol what kind of issues? lol well the fact that I hadn't been saving to move to vancouver this coming september, despite the fact that I kept promising for months, the fact that I kept promising to quit smoking and I never did, I still haven't but have cut back alot. The main reason I was going to quit was mainly to save money,as I was buying like 5 packs

Hi Hollie, it sounds like you're making real progress now towards the future together, and it's really good that you're not lying and hiding your smoking from him anymore. Have you thought about talking to your doctor about a prescription to help you stop smoking?

Thanks, and I have actually been debating talking to my doctor about quitting. For two reasons, 1.) It is not something I feel i can do without some sort of aid like nicorette or something. and 2.) Iam really tiny in every way and I am not sure if I could use nicorette type things because of my size,I don't know the doses of nicotine in them or things like that and I wouldn't want it to harm me in any way.

Hi again Hollie. It sounds like it really would be beneficial for you to discuss it with your doctor. He/she can answer any questions you have about over-the-counter stop smoking aids, and/or prescribe something that will help if that's needed.

Here are some resources, though, that might help, as well as give you some ideas for what to discuss with your doctor if/when you go:
