Strong coincidence

A couple years ago, during my junior year of college, I spent the summer on the other side of the country in LA. (I'm from the east coast.) I did an internship while I was out there. At my internship, I worked for this really good-looking guy that I instantly found attractive. Needless to say, it made going to my internship a little easier. Haha. Anyway, after that summer of working for this guy I had a crush on, (he looked to be in his mid-20s), I returned to the east coast for my final year of undergrad. After graduating the next summer, I decided to move to LA. I landed a job I really liked at a place much different from where I had interned the summer before. On my first day at my new job, I was taking a tour of the large building when I found my crush/former internship supervisor sitting behind one of the computers!! I was completely stunned. He was really surprised and happy too.

Since then, he's asked me to lunch once, and he flirts when I see him. I am still very attracted to him, and I'm pretty sure it's mutual. Also, we work at the same company. So I'm not sure if a date or anything can be worked out in this situation. At the same time, I can't help but think that there must be some reason why we ended up at the same place when there are so many other possibilities for where he could be right now, or where I could've chosen to be instead.

Tell me what you think.
Thanks~

That is a strong coincidence. I honestly have always thought things happen for a reason. Maybe you should look into the company policy on dating co-workers. Perhaps there's a loop hole that no one has caught and see if maybe he'd be interested. If he's flirting than maybe he is interested. I'd say go for it b/c you never know what might happen if you don't take the chance. Hope I helped.
