I believe the harsh reality is this.. The guy is a player and he used you before from what it sounds like (sorry) and he will do it again and again if you let him....

If I were you and I am not I would contact a therapist and see why you are not attracting the kind of relationship that you want and need..

Yes these flings are fun and dangerous and it you will have fun in the moment and then have a broken heart all over again.. Is that what you want?? Ask yourself the hard questions and wonder why would you want to do this to your poor self again and go through that trauma and drama again? Is it worth it and for what?? A another fling and romp in the hay... No thanks I would say and move on to self discover and find happines and love in you and others who will love you and care of you and not use you....
