I have been talking to someone online for about 2 weeks now. We recently met the other night and cleared the air that we were attracted to each other after meeting. I have just recently got out of a long relationship, and just looking for a new friend with the possibility for something more in the future. However I do not want to be too up front and scare him off by

Relax a little!

It's too soon to be worrying about where it's going. Definitely don't ask him his intensions, nor do you need to declare yours. By the second date, you may decide you aren't a match anyway. Whether to sleep with a man right away is a personal decision, but I'm looking for a LTR, and believe it's best to wait.

Some of the best advice I ever got about OLD is to approach it like you're meeting a friend. What this means to me is to get to know the guy as a person and not focus too much on his boyfriend/lover potential right out of the gate. Is this someone I enjoy talking to and spending time with? Do I admire him as a person, etc.? Plus, when there really is a mutual attraction, I think dragging it out a little is the best part.

I say just go out with him and see how it goes.
