Good luck with the meet tonight!! Let us know what happened. As far as the weight thing goes... he might have been fishing for a compliment! The guy I was boating with on Sunday made a comment about his 'flabby' stomach...how he needed to loose weight...then he took off his shirt on the boat and ... he did NOT need to loose weight!! Trust me. I think men just say that sometimes like women do!! Have fun! :-) What gives you the impression about the second guy that he's only interested in sex??
I'm not a big fan of emailing incessantly. It does seem odd that if he's available why not just call? But some guys like to hide behind the computer. I talked to one guy on eharmony for a month, I mentioned for him to call me, he blew past it didn't even acknowledge it, never in that "month" time did he mention getting together so finally I was like screw this I didn't pay 50 bucks to have a penpal, last email to him was I'm not using eharmony anymore so heres my number if your interested, if not good luck in your search. He never called. I don't know if the guy was just new to online dating, or just wasn't interested, but then why even bother going through the entire lengthy process to get to the emailing stage and then just stay there. Give me a break! Time is money. LOL
I know you've had a date, but usually once there is a date, you move past the emailing and imming stage at least I like too.
I'd stop emailing...if he has your number, just don't respond to email as much. maybe he'll move out of his "comfort zone" or maybe not...
I agree with Sniffle Sally - he's hiding behind the email. If he's really interested in you just offer your number and say call me. If he doesn't that is your answer of how seriously he's taking YOU.
