I can't believe it, I went to check my lava email and I found a message from a guy I met about 2 yrs. ago! I went out with him a few times, I even took the guy to my Xmas dinner party, introduced him to my co-workers and he then went out of town for the holidays, said he will call me from there, nothing, just poof! ghosted on me. He emailed me today telling me how he's been looking for a woman like me, my attributes, my looks, would like so much to meet me, bla, bla, how he could not recognize me?!! Could it be that I posted a new pic where I look very hot and sexy? LOL, how Koo Koo is that? I blocked his sorry ass. Has this ever happened to you?

I'm in the same boat age 45 (look 35). Gee, if the sites did more filtering I probably wouldn't get any hits! LOL I understand where you are coming from but I think these "old" guys want love too -- and we know most hardly ever read the criteria, just see a pretty face, send a wink and pray you respond!!

Remember it's a numbers game with OLD, so the old guys are working the numbers! (smile)

I just got a wink two days ago from a guy I who had started e-mailing me about a month ago. We'd exchanged 5 or 6 e-mails and had set up our first meet and then he bailed on me, saying he didn't think we'd be a match because he wanted someone who had weekends off and bid me good luck in my search...so yeah! WTF is with this wink?

I'm sure these older guys want/deserve love as much as anyone, however, I'm probably not going to be their match. I realize there are some women who really go for the older men. I used to think it tended to be the ones with money that women were drawn to, but I couldn't be bought no matter how much he had if he wasn't my type.

I think, if I were you, I might have to send a sarcastic little e-mail to him saying "You wanted someone with weekends free, remember?" or something to that affect.

I know what you mean. I'm 43, but look mid 30's. I got a flirt from a may whose profile said he was 50. It was a little older than I wanted, but the pic he had looked good. Of course, it was hard to see the face real well. We exchanged e-mails a bit and then he asked me out. Turns out he was more like 65. What's up with that!
