The Bachelorette
Wow. I had a feeling but wasn’t sure that she wasn’t with either guys. Part of me wonders if she found out Jerry was on other reality shows and that is why she changed her mind and to spare embarrassing Jerry she said they’d be better off as friends. Or, she was really into this for the publicity and had no intentions of finding a lifemate. May e she is dating someone else like her boss?
Either way, history now dictates she has commitment issues in my opinion. John Paul looked really good at the live show last night and what a gentleman. Jerry handled himself with class and Jenn was just a mess, all over the place.
At least Trysta and Ryan are really in love and it was romantic and fun to see their proposal. I believe Ian and Meredith really wanted it to work. Byron and Mary seem in love as well.
But this, this was worse than Bob!
Oh well, time to turn in my bachelorette hat! Next seasons promos looked like a frat boy trying to get laid by trashy chicks – no thanks!

You know, I never watched this show because I just find it icky, BUT last night while surfing I stopped to watch the scene in the limo where this Jen was crying over everything. I thought it was verrrry odd that:
1-She was practically hysterical yet neither one of her "friends" moved to touch her, hold her, rub her back....nothing. If I or one of my friends was crying like that, we would be all over each other with hugs and hand holding, etc.
2-Neither of her "friends" ever gave her some real, truthful advice or truly supportive encouragement. they just tried to tell her she was a really great girl and she knew what she was doing. How about maybe seeing if Jen was open to recognizing that the whole situation was not right for her.
3-Why did Jen never consider that if you have to choose between two men then neither one is right?
She is lame, weak, and just a bit of fluff in the wind. Geez, I better go get my tea or I may stay this cranky all day!!! :P
My opinion of what happened is,
Jerry turned out to be the guy
that she feared all along. I
think after the show, he wasn't
attentive enough for her taste.
Did you notice that she kept
saying: "Well, the friends only
vibe is what I thought I was
getting from you. I thought we
agreed that is what we both
wanted?" Almost as if it were
a question. Like, is this still
what you want? Maybe I'm wrong.
I tend to think they were both
acting last night, him especially.
I agree with you about the next
installment of the show, tis a
shame.
This thing about his being on
another reality show is news
to me. Where did you find this
information?
It was all over the tabloids that he was a security guard at Harry Winston’s in NYC. That’s where he was dating some woman from Big Brother. He was also spotted on another reality show.
Who knows; maybe he was playing a game with her too. She was confused beyond belief last night!
Cheers,
SP
Yes, our good buddy Jerry seems to be a fame whore. He was a security guard in NYC and let some girl from the last NYC Real World season try on jewelry or something and she flirted with him and he kinda strung her along. Also, he went out with one of the Big Brother contestants.
Hey - if you check, I called this one. As soon as I heard that she was getting 2 proposals but not giving her answer to her final choice at the time but rather on the ATFR show, I said that she was going to say no to both. They were talking on the radio about how this was such a surprise and yadda, yadda. I wasn't surprised at all. I could tell by her body language the whole finale and then as she walked out to greet Jerry that she was not into either guy. When I saw her walk into that incredibly romantic setting where they were going to do the proposals, her shoulders were drooped, she didn't smile and she looked very glum. Then she walked out to talk to Jerry on the ATFR and she kept smacking her leg with her hand and seemed very nervous and unnatural. But just that lack of passion and excitement the last couple of weeks - I knew she wasn't going to marry or even stay with either. I am not shocked, but it really is a shame.
I might watch the first epi of the new one, but it looks sickening. This guy is a total player and these women look like hos. They are going to throw themselves at him and it looks to be a much raunchier show than it has been before. I can't believe they think that is what America wants to see. I guess they figure the actual romance thing isn't working out so they might as well go for smut.
I remember him from RW NY now! Oh my gosh!!
How odd ...
Does anyone else think that the new bachelor
looks like he could be Jerry O'Connell's older
brother? He looks just like him, right down to
the cleft:

I'd post a pic of the new bachelor for comparison but
the site hasn't been updated yet.
For those of you interested, I found a link about
Jerry being on RW Back to NY:
