Ok, one of the other discussions leads me to this question. I'm having a hell of a time settling on a body type to put on my profile. At what point does average become "a few extra pounds"? Granted, I'm losing that last bit of weight on my butt, so in a couple months it will be a moot point, but how do you think men perceive an average, "extra" & curvy woman's body?

Nothing irks me more than someone emailing me without reading my profile and you can totally tell.
I dont' want anyone that just looks at my pictures and deems I'm "worthy" of dating from those, I want someone that reads my profile and is interested in ME!
Hi Sally,
One time, several years ago, before everyone and their brother had scanners, I didn't have a picture up but I had a picture that I got later on, so some guy emailed me and wanted to chat, asked for my picture, he told me I was too big to date, I said Okay that's fine...have you looked in the mirror lately???
He was at LEAST 400 lbs. LOL
Hypocrisy astounds.
I agree on I get more looks, hitting on me and the "pleasantly surprised" look when meeting people out and about or sometimes on OLD then I do just going off pictures. I think my pictures depict me pretty well, but most often guys are "pleasantly surprised" so I must look worse in them. LOL
Layx2,
You should really put your body type as "average" because you don't look overweight, no matter what medicine says. I think most guys would pass over you simply because you put "a few extra pounds" & you don't show up in their searches. You have NOTHING to worry about. You are a hottie!
Thanks Travkitty! You made my day! Maybe I should put average and see what kind of different responses I get = ) Thanks for looking over my profile for me!
