Sweetie, with as big a heart as you have, sooner or later you'll meet up with a super guy who will share his happiness with you and yours as well.

Hang in there.

Sorry to hear about everything.

I never elaborated on the previous "partying" post -- but to me that would be a huge dealbreaker because I've seen so many people who meet and enjoy that level of activity while dating but one of the people never settles down -- which can lead to all sorts of problems down the road. Once addicted, it's a LIFELONG sentence...

Sorry to hear it went this way, but it's great to see that you really have things in perspective. You remind of my best friend--she always believes in living and loving, even if it means heartbreak. Though she doesn't want to have to be in pain, feeling the love and the sadness at moments is how we all know we're really living.

I second what NGOL said. :)

Oh Peanut, I don't know what to say! My heart just sank when I read your post. I was so rooting for you.

Your posts meant so much to me when I was going through that rough patch last week. I wish I had some pearls of wisdom for you, but you seem to have said it all. Besides, you're way ahead of me in the relationship department!

<>

You are so right. You ARE an amazing woman! There is some lucky/smart guy out there who will appreciate you for all the wonderful things you really are. Plus, you're cute! ;)

<>

I think that quote is the key item here. I beleive you said someting similar to me last week. About him needing to make some concessions too. It's so true.

<>

Keep that good, strong attitude with you in the days ahead.

I'll be thinking about you "Tiny Cashew"! Hugs!!!

Luv

PS If you tell me where to find him, I'd be happy to smack him around a little for breaking Peanut's heart! (JK)

What a putz! I can't believe he would let someone like you get away!

Your positive spirit is as inspirational as always. Lame words, but I know you are going to be snapped up by someone travelling the same road you are on.

Hang in there!

Aww, Peanut, I am really sorry to hear that - I had my hopes up for you! You are absolutely right though, there is nothing you can do if HE doesn't want to work on whatever problems you have, BOTH of you have to be willing to work on it. It sounds like he is all about the fantasy and fun, and when real problems arise he's out the door rather than trying to work on them (and this seems to happen with alarming regularity around the 4-6 month mark!). I have been in your shoes and I know it is no fun. Oh, and I totally get it about the differing viewpoints - that was a big issue with my last bf and it can be SOOO frustrating!

I admire your attitude; I honestly believe that if you keep a positive attitude, the right person will come along when the time is right. And he will be very lucky to have you. :)

How are you doing post-car accident btw? I saw your post and it sounds like a terrifying accident - I have never been in one that serious. Hope you are fully recovered soon!
