............with a guy who is 2x your age?

Hmmm lemme see, I’m already 35, so that means the guy is 70….ohhhh I don’t think so I can, he will be old enough to be my dad. He might be mistaken as my sugar daddy…...ohhh. I’m not against May-Dec. affair, I know of couples like this and they are doin good. It’s only my opinion and I don’t think it will work for me. But who knows, knock on'll never

My honey is 11 years older than me and it’s just fine. I want to hear from all of you...:)

...being with someone who is twice as old as me is absolutely out of the question for me.. even 5 older than me is too old for me...I just don't go for older. I do however go for much younger, and wouldn't mind my SO to be half my, that won't work..ok, 10-12 years younger! Nothing ever comes out of older woman - younger man but oh what fun while it lasts... In reality though, I would want my SO to be exactly my age..

I agree here .I am 41, and I used to go for younger guys, the youngest was 29, yes they are fun while it lasts. My ex is 15 years older than me and that was not good either for me, too old. Now I go for guys my own age, they seem to have more of the same interests, likes, ideas etc. We just relate better all around.

I am going to go with you on this one Jen. Mark is 10 years older than me, and that is plenty. Now, I have dated men as old as 47. I do not prefer to, but it does happen from time to time. Now, not saying it is not possible for someone to fall in love with someone 2x their age, it just would never happen to me. NOPE!

The new guy I've just started seeing is a whole 8 years older than me. That's the oldest I've ever dated. I've been hit on by plenty of much older guys, but I've already got too many father-figure issues to deal with, without even going there!

I could fall in love with anyone, I guess - married, not Jewish, not educated, a drug dealer, a movie star, etc but that is irrelevant to me because that has little to do with who I would choose as a long term partner/husband - there has to be so much more than just those in love feelings. I would not date someone that age because I want to have a family, soon.

Noooo, because, at the very best, he'd have one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel and pushing my man around in the geriatric ward is not my idea of a fun time at this point!

Seriously though, when I was in my 30's I dated a few older guys, not 2x my age but up to about 25 years older. One guy was really cool and we had a blast but the others, well, they just seemed too old in their ways if you know what I mean. I've always seemed to click better with the younger crowd and I've always felt more comfortable with them. Steve's only 5 years younger than me but we both think and behave as if we're still 25 lol. It's going to be real nice growing old together :)

No, I don't think that would work for me. I guess that's because my dad is just 19 years older than me and I definitely would have problems being together with a guy his age or even older.

The biggest age difference for me was 8 years by now and even that was horrible (because he lied to me about his real age in the beginning and when I then found out that he will be 40 within two months that was one of the big NO NO's which killed that relationship before it really started).

Rob is 1 year and 14 days older than I am (I am 33) and that's just perfect for me!

OMG, that would make him nearly 100! Well, ok, if he has lots of money and no-one to leave it too - cause I think I would kill him the first time we made love! {smile}

No, I have never been with anyone more than a year or two older, and at this point, I am finding most men my age, "too old" already. I won't take the time to get to know a man who was a lot older than me, I still have a lot of life left in me, and they all seem so tired and settled...

... Sometimes falling in love just happens and you can't control with who. But I couldn't with a man that is twice my age. At that time he will be the same age as my mom and seven years younger than my dad (I'm 21). I usually have a 10 year age limit but si=ometimes there is an exception to the rule (the guy I am talking to now is 34). Hey thats just me.

Well, 2 times my age would only make him 40....but my dad is 47 and those ages are just too close together. I was recently interested in a guy I know IRL who is 31 and I don't think I'd ever go any older than that. The interest has fizzled for me b/c I found some things out about him that are just things I'm not looking for in a guy.
