Do you disregard certain profiles, then end up going back and thinking they're not so bad after all.....???

I find that after seeing the same face a few times, they start to look better or am I just getting more desperate?

Seriously, appearance is becoming less important to me. Naturally, there has to be a certain amount of appeal, but I'm not as choose....less shallow?

For a while when first starting - appearance was the chief factor in judging profiles. Then I met a few of the pretty people. And now my chief factor is that they match up with my list of characteristics that I think make a match. I no longer will even politely correspond with people where we don't have enough in common -- no matter how cute their picture.

There is no doubt in my mind that having commonality is key to making a good match. Simply going and picking the "hotties" is probably good for ONS but from what I read here not much else.

Pretty much what LG said. When I first did OLD looks were everything. Eventually I realized there was SO much mmore to consider.

You're on the right track.
