Coming Off my Dating Hiatus
| Mon, 08-28-2006 - 3:57pm |
Well I've decided to come off my dating hiatus and seriously pursue a nice gentlemen for friendship and possibly more. Wishful thinking, hey? (smile) Anyway, I'm sure I'll have some interesting stories. I decided to go the FREE route this time and posted an ad on Craigslist. Have a really nice recent pic so hopefully the pic and ad will attract a nice guy.
Wish me luck or should I say God give me strength!!!!

My first email:
You are a tasty looking treat. A smile like yours could melt any mans heart & open the doors to his soul.
My response:
Does this mean you are interested?? LOL

What else can I expect from Craigslist??? Taking bets my hiatus will be over by the end of the week! LOL I know, stay positive!!
Good luck! As I posted a week or two ago, I've also ended my hiatus, although I took my ad down a day after posting it. After I've exhausted the current "crop", I'm probably going to go back on hiatus again, LOL!
You have a lot of courage posting your picture on CL!!! I'll be interested to hear what your experience is with posting a picture (I do the "pic for pic" thing myself).

You know I was wondering why the majority of the listings on Craigslist didn't have a photo. Oh well, I'll let you know how it goes! I'm thinking it may raise my numbers -- but then again it is Craigslist, so I may attract more weirdos. (smile)
Gee, your back on hiatus after ONE day! I'm hoping I can last till the end of the week! LOL
I'm right there with you! I wish you all the luck!
