I don't know about anyone else but I am tired of the "dinner and a movie" date....So lets share some ideas......
Horseback riding, touring the local wineries, ice skating....what was the most fun you have had on a date?

Good topic!
Ok, this is kinda silly (my date, not the topic)
some ideas:
petting zoo
county/fall festivals
apple picking
bowling
picnic in park
flea markets
mini golf
drive-in movie
museum/history re-enactment
H.S Football game
I always check my local paper for any special upcoming events. And also visit the Tourist visitor center. Not only do they have brochures of things to do in your area, but also in the surrounding counties.
Rollerblading as a first date was fun.
She and I met in art school so we both have a strong appreciation of it as well as strong opinions. She said you can really tell a lot about someone in checking out modern art. Not only in how you see it but how you express your opinions/confusion/interpretation of it. Basically they played art critic commentary. Her providing the more academic pov and him doing the man-in-the-street pov. Sounded like fun to me.
I went on a wine tasting at a local winery.
