Wow!! That is a big step. I am glad to hear you are doing well with a match. I still have yet to meet someone I want to date much less anything else. I am still hopeful he is out there so it is nice to hear someone with a match progressing. :)

P.S. - You seem to have a very healthy dating life. I have been out of it for awhile and am a bit nervous. Sex is scary to me right now. I hope I still know how if the occasion arises.

I hear ya!! I did not have sex for 5 months and when I met this guy it was so hard to have sex we had to try on 3 nights!! I m not sure whether I should lower my standards for a friend with benefits or accept the embarassment of not being able to have I/C with someone I like after a long period of abstinence!

My friends who date assure me it is like riding a bike!!!!! I'm less concerned about the mechanics of what goes where and more about the message it sends to each particular guy. Can't wait to find out!

Unfortunately though, this is where women (myself included) allow themselves to be vulnerable and oftentimes end up hurt later if the guy has not made some kind of commitment. I can't do casual sex, never have and never will. My emotions get too caught up and it hurts all the more when the guy has said and done things to indicate long-term when that is not in his mind or he "changes" his mind later. For myself, I will be waiting a bit longer for that than I did with Mark, IF there is a next time. :0
