Chanedevorah (lol probably mispelled) suggested a new thread rather than hi-jacking another :-)

So the topic came about with the suggestion that "he" is going to come along one day and it is a strong possibility that "he" will NOT be in the package that I have fantasized about.

What "kinds" of guys have you all dated? DO you always stick with a specific type?

When/if you've ventured into a relationship or dated a man who did not fit into that type - what has the experience been?

I know right now - I am having an ABSOLUTE BLAST with a man who is SO NOT MY TYPE :-)

It's been an eye opener :-)

Queenbun, hmm could be fun but actually totally tame story. The queenbun is literally the queen bunny, my kids have had pet rabbits and they are social creatures with a maternal social heirarchy, top bunny is the Queen bunny. My boys gave me that nickname years ago.
I have found that not sticking with the ideal will allow me to be more relaxed during the early dating stage. 3month Fling Guy was totally my physical ideal type (6'4", 185#, blond- long, long legs) and I was a squirrely, love sick puppy. With M I can be more relaxed because he's not quite perfect. And personality wise he is not at all like my X. M is very social, laid back, totally into his role of Dad, and not obsessed with money. My X was a pretty boy type, into appearances, well dressed. There is something just not right about a guy who takes longer to get ready for going out than I do LOL M is more of a rugged outdoorsy guy which is really refreshing.
