Here is an excerpt from the profile of someone who contacted me yesterday.

I'm the type that would bring you flowers when its least expected. I love important dates like anniversaries, birthdays, etc. I even love to cook, clean, and even shop! Especially when you go shopping for cloths, I like to come into the stores with you to help you pick cloths out and see you in them. I also want to be a father one day. I love children and they love me too. My cousin, who more like a sister to me, has three children and oon as I walk in to see them, they always get excited and run and hug me

I agree, he simply doesn't know how to write a profile. Those all could be true. You will never know unless you date and see. Although cheesy, I don't think his write up was absurd.

He's 27 yrs old but he states that he's looking for a ltr leading to marriage and children. Of course, there's no photo . You think I should reply and see what happens?

I did find the write up kind of absurd. He sounds like a high school kid writing a composition for school. Sure, some people just don't write well, but it sounds very... stilted. And next time I go to the textile shop for cloths, I'll be sure to ask him along. ;-)

Nah - us Canadians also say "clothes". But our colours are different from your colors. And you don't find them in the same neighbourhoods as your neighborhoods.

The only way to find out if he's really telling the truth is to hang out with him and see what he's like.

But to me... he sounds gay. Seriously. No guy I know is really THAT domestic unless he's gay. I mean, I like to look at girls (shocker) but I don't particularly like to shop with them, even if it means I get to check them out (over and over again) in something they're trying on. Yawn.

Stack that up with liking to clean and cook... come ON.

Gay.

But hey, write him, maybe he's cute and telling the truth and you'll live happily ever after! :)

No, he’s not. This guy dumped me the day before Valentine’s Day of 2002 (kidding)!

Actually, I agree with Niceguy – the only way to find out is too meet him. A lot of guys write they love to spoil their woman, nothing wrong with that but it’s the way they say it, if they brag about it just be cautious but if they subtly say they like to do nice things for their partner then they probably do. Almost all my dates and BF’s the past year or two have been pretty generous and do go out of their way including my BF now, he’s so thoughtful on more levels than one. He even took care of me all 3 times I got sick this year and really went out of his way.

Whenever I hear a guy LOVES to shop and watch you try on clothes my gadar goes up too; pay attention to that.
