Here is an excerpt from the profile of someone who contacted me yesterday.

I'm the type that would bring you flowers when its least expected. I love important dates like anniversaries, birthdays, etc. I even love to cook, clean, and even shop! Especially when you go shopping for cloths, I like to come into the stores with you to help you pick cloths out and see you in them. I also want to be a father one day. I love children and they love me too. My cousin, who more like a sister to me, has three children and oon as I walk in to see them, they always get excited and run and hug me

I think he's trying a little too hard in his profile considering this is the initial impression he's going to make on-line. But if he wears his heart on his sleeve, I think it's not that corny. But I agree with others here he has to proove it in-person rather than just the written word.

However, I would say I would do about 80% of what he's describing but I wouldn't consider myself gay. I can clean a toilet or shower and adequately defend myself in an alley if cornered.

Hey Nice Guy,

You said, "...I like to look at girls (shocker) but I don't particularly like to shop with them, even if it means I get to check them out (over and over again) in something they're trying on. Yawn..."

I bet if your lady was shopping at Victoria's Secret or a similar store you'd certainly be willing to check out her apparel choices as she tried them on and I don't think you'd be yawning either! ;)

SP, you said, "...Whenever I hear a guy LOVES to shop and watch you try on clothes my gadar goes up too; pay attention to that..." I have to agree with you there.

My daughter has a good friend at her work who is gay that she has lunch with and they shop together. He knows exactly what she likes and what colors will work for her, and usually can put an outfit together so quickly for her, he even guesses the right size for her, and she loves it. They always have a good time together and it's funny because her bf is a guy's guy and he always knows when Eric wasn't at work because then she shares her gripes with the bf instead - so I think her bf rather likes her having the gay friend. I told my daughter I need an Eric to shop with!

But about this guy from this post, I think he just might have had a hard time writing his profile - since it is a tricky thing to do! Maybe he is really nice and likes to do that stuff, but I'd also be watching for the the possibilitiy of gayness...

Anyway, it no longer matters. He just posted a photo onto his profile. Not my type at all.

I asked my daughter if I could borrow him but she doesn't seem to want to share him!!! I picture it somewhat as the show "Queer eye for the straight guy" - but in my daughter's case it's more like "Queer eye for the straight girl!" He is thinking of looking elsewhere for a new job and she is very down about that. I guess they talk about everything including their relationships, but not with details for the relationship things.

Glad I could give you a laugh!

Actually, Bravo just started that show, "Queer Eye for the Straight Girl"! I have heard it is pretty good but haven't seen it. I don't know if they give relationship advice as well as clothes but I think I'd be game!

Great I'm going to have to check it out, these gay guys give fantastic advice on clothing, house decor, entertaining (no LG and the other guys - not entertaining sexually), etc! I also like the shows where they redo a girl's wardrobe, throw out her old stuff and get her into a style that flatters her better - but those are designers - which some I'm sure might be gay also. Thanks for the info Vexer.
