Do you think it's true.....

that a guy has to *burn* for you from the beginning to make the relationship have a chance? Does every guy know immediately if he's going to be into a girl?
Can't a guy fall for a girl after knowing her for awhile? Does it always have to happen from the start?
I guess this question falls into the *He's just not into you* discussion in a way.
If this the case then a girl should know after the first date if the guy will ever be *into* her.

I don't think you have to be completely into a person from day one. I don't see how that's possible. But you should be growing more interested -- and not ambivalent.
As a matter of fact most of the people who experience these romances that "Take off like a rocketship" -- also experience the hard landing..
Geez, if any guy was "burning" for me from the beginning I'd chalk it up to hormones/horniness and say NEXT!
But I do think in something like OLD, there should definitely be *some* interest from the beginning - but I'd prefer to see someone be genuinely interested in my personality, rather than be all "hot" for me!
No, I don't think a guy has to "burn" for you from the beginning to make it work. In fact, I think him doing so would be a red flag!
What he has to have an interest in getting to know you better.
