Do you think relationships are seasonal?

What I mean by this is... a few of my guy friends have told me that during the warm summer months, they're not looking to settle down because there's so many opportunities out there. Yet, when the cooler weather comes they feel men are more apt to settle down with one woman.

What do you think? Would like both the male and female perspective.

Well i get four seasons in mass and I don't have a boyfriend and haven't had one for about 5 years...so apparently it isn't seasonal in my neighborhood.

I will say the past week I've noticed a major increase in mail - only one week left of summer, LOL - maybe you have a point? I always have BF's in the winter, didn't have one this summer - dates and contendors but no one I wanted to be exclusive with --- hmmmmm but if I found the right guy I would have for sure - just not in the cards for summer 2005.

Mmh, that may be true, since my experience has been that I do more dating during the summer months!! During this time period (Aug-Oct), the dating becomes less frequent but the guys tend to be more serious about seeking a relationship.

Regardless I have not had a LTR in about 2 years, so I believe there is more to it than the "season"! (smile)
