In Chat on monday the topic of Dr. John Grey came up. I did a little homework on the famous author, you guys should do the same, just google his name and you will find tons of articles claiming that he is a fraud. Read up and let me know what you think.

I've never thought much of his work (he relies too heavily on gender stereotypes and generalizations for my taste), but I guess I'm too cynical to think that it's a big surprise that doctorates are often only "on paper".
I guess I'm not sure that necessarily makes the person a "fraud" though. I could see someone feeling they need to have the "Dr." in front of their name for marketing purposes, but still giving good advice. Dr. Phil, for example--I pretty much assume, (fairly or not) that his PhD isn't the real thing, but I still like his advice.
