I think it's safe to say that in more cases than not, moving too fast has a bad outcome. Most is not all and yes it works for some. I guess a person has to try and judge each opportunity as they arise and try and be as objective as they can be which is hard in the midst of the ga-ga stage of the beginnings of dating someone. If for example 1 out of 100 people are right for you, then moving too fast is going to get you extra hurt 99% of the time and 1% of the time it will lead you more quickly into coupled bliss.
