FRAUD ALERT LADIES

Oh my god; I just saw this guy on DATELINE NBC (I dvr’d it from Friday) and I remember seeing him on match in LA now he’s in Chicago. He’s a FRAUD. He wrote that book on natural remedies that’s out now, Dateline exposed him as the book is CRAP and apparently he’s banned from making infomercials now as he’s a con artist and has been arrested too..small world. OK, just can’t believe it…too funny. Type in under username on match “memoryguy” and that’s him. Don't date him, DATELINE tracked him from way back when, I doubt he's 35, he appears older too.

If I have to take out his name then let me know...but I wanted to warn you all and spread the word.

I think I know the guy you're talking about, and he's GOT to be older than 35 if it's the one I'm thinking of...I've seen his infomercials, and actually, he's talked about "25 years ago..." when he was "in his 20's" so he's probably closer to 50 than 35!

Are you guys talking about Kevin Trudeau?

Although I haven't read his book and I am not in the habit of watching infomercials. What you wrote in your post regarding prescription drugs and FDA it wouldn't surprise me in the least. Lets face it, drugs are being approved by the FDA and thrown out on the market which are causing a lot of problems, the birth control patch, Vioxx...I try to stay away from prescription drugs as best I can. I also think all the "chemicals" in our foods are doing a major number on us too. Although Kevin Trudeau has been known for a while as a fraud, I do happen to believe that there is a lot of truth in the whole drug issue with society today.

It looks like he's removed his profile.

I try to stay off prescriptions as much as possible, but this guy claims that the drug companies are trying to keep people sick so they'll just buy more drugs. That theory sounds like a little too much for me.

My thing about Kevin Trudeau is he's been labeled a fraud for quite some time, unless you are living under a rock you had to have heard that. And if you are going to follow someone without researching them, nobody is going to convince you otherwise. It's why so many cults have followings, people don't research and they follow whomever.

I know, and that's pretty scary.

I would not be surprised if there were some premise to this theory.

Is this the guy who claims that the FDA is in a conspiracy to keep people from finding out that cancer, diabetes, etc. are all curable with the remedies in his book because the drug companies WANT people to be sick so they can make money?

YES, same guy - Dateline just ran this episode last Friday and yeah, see he's proablly 50 and even lies about his age. He comes across like he's not your typical LA guy but really is, when they try to hard you know........

I feel the same way and I'm far from a conspiracy nut.
