LOL! Yeah, if you can't even spell intelligent, then you're not. LOL!

Regarding the martini guy, I LOVE that response. James Bond likes his martinis "shaken, not stirred" which refers to how it's prepared. He's asking you out for a meet, basically. I think it's cute & original.

But it says in my profile I don't drink.

Oh, well, that's true. But, I often overlook the drinking line because I'm so focused on non-smokers only when I peruse profiles. I'd say give him a chance, at least exchange a few emails.

I would just block the people who are sending you repeated emails and not give it another thought.

As for the shaken not stirred, I thought that was great, even as a non-drinker! He's just continuing the "icebreaker" theme in an original way. Have you never seen a James Bond movie ;-)??? I would email him back in a heartbeat.

I think you've hit the nail on the head! If you don't know the whole James Bond "shaken not stirred" thing, then his remark makes no sense.

How is it possible that you have missed out on such a significant piece of popular culture ;-)???? LOL!

I would just email him and not even mention it...it's not important, he was just trying to be clever.

I have noticed that on yahoo I get more one liners I think its the whole cartoon bubble look. I think it encourages a little tongue and cheek humor....that and the freaks....my favorite freak emails....

"But u are sexy and if u wanted a rock and off with the socks night of your life i can do that. I will show u some adventure i really love older women and yes they always shy age riiiiiight i am leading them around after awhile. I hope u wanna make a little history with me cause fun is none stop and adventures my middle name on the move is where ill be."" (he was 22...Im 32....not a chance in H*LL.)

or there was the female couple looking for a third....

or this freak....
"While I can see from your profile that your personality is definitely one of your best features (I really liked how you made the profile flow). I would say that your smile is your best feature. I know you hear it all the time, but that smile of yours is to die for!

So if you're tired of the same old same old...if you'd like to take a chance on a guy who will do his best to keep that engaging smile of yours always on your face...if you'd like to see if your chemistry professor was right about mixing two volitile chemicals together (they go BOOM!)...then drop me a line and let's see if we can get that chemistry started.."

Boom?? I dont think so! I chalk it up to Yahoo...but I would email the "james bond" if there were no red flags in his profile......

has he never been married? It could be at 37 and never been married that his critria is wide because he is not looking for a comittment in the form of marriage..for example I am dating a 38 yrld bach..loves (or at least he pretends that he loves) the single life, the freedom the being able to pack a bag and go...pretty clear to me that his relationships have the potential of being long term but on his terms......if I remember correctly his profile said 25-40....

from what you have posted of this guys profile he sounds like he has put some thought into his profile and has a sense of humor. I'd go for it!
