Hi

I heard there is a website where friends or exes (mainly women I think) recomemend their friends or exes for a personal online dating. Does anyone know the link to this website? Thanks.

Welcome, and you can ignore LG, our resident smarty-pants ;-).

I think it's something like greatboyfriends.com?

You know, I couldn't help myself. I checked out the website. My curiosity was peaked.
I think it has a novel approach. However, I find it odd that these gals didn't hold on to them if these guys were such a great catch. Also, the ex's "seal of approval" touched on such shallow points, IMO.

There was one item that really bothered me and that was the "ring buying rating". I mean, come on now. Does the number of karats/baguettes really make the man?

I'd actually never looked at the site, just read about it...so I just looked, and I agree, the ring thing is TACKY!!!

As for who recommends these guys, the impression I got is that it's not necessararily ex-gfs...it's also sisters and platonic friends. In any event, I know from experience that just because a guy isn't right for ME doesn't mean he's not a good guy, and right for someone ELSE.

Absolutely. I had that same thought after I posted. Great minds think alike. ;)
