Anyone who has done online dating for a while can relate to this comedic essay. I almost spit out my coffee a few times:

Thanks for sharing! That was comical and entertaining.

It's comforting to realize that men can have similar experiences online as women. I think the best advice that anyone can give is 'be patient'. And when you don't feel like dating for awhile, take your profile down and take a break.

That is really funny & it just makes me realize that it's really hard to write a good profile that doesn't just sound like everyone else's.

About the complaining thing--I looked at one guy's profile and there was a whole list of negative things, like "I'll pay for the first date but don't expect me to pay for all the dates." "I don't like it when women don't respond when I send an email."--yeah because he probably says something brilliant like "Hi" with nothing else. "I don't know why women will only limit their search to 75 miles." Uh, because maybe we have jobs, kids & own a house and we don't have time for a LDR? Yeah, I can't imagine why he doesn't get dates.
